GOALS:

  • Balance our need for economic development with our desire to preserve our rural character
  •  Cost containment to control our Town budget in these extremely difficult economic times
  •   Stimulate additional tax revenues through tax base expansion and promotion of our natural and historic resources in order to protect our taxpayers and our property values

 

PLATFORM:

  • Expand our tax base through the revitalization of the Route 52 corridor, attracting retailers and professional services into our primary economic corridor
  •  Contain town expenses through vigorous monitoring and analysis of expenditures
  •  Additional cost containment through sharing of services and resources with other government entities 
  • Promotion of heritage and nature tourism, to utilize our abundant open-space resources to attract visitors and help stimulate our local economy, without adding to our school district and town tax bills

 

EDUCATION:

  • B.A. Degree in Psychology/Business Economics, SUNY Oneonta, 1978, Summa Cum Laude
  • Masters Degree in Business Administration, Adelphi University, 1983, Summa Cum Laude

 

WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • 30 years experience in corporate planning, marketing, forecasting, and financial tracking and analysis
  • Founder of Highlands Preservation, Inc. a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving historic sites, and promotion of heritage and nature tourism
  • Author of Mount Nimham: The Ridge of Patriots
